Jazz on Radio
Enjoying Jazz on Your Radio
Do you know you can easily access and explore the world of Jazz every Tuesday? Well, yes, Jazz on the radio is an educative and entertaining show that takes you back to the 90s, leaving you nostalgic. If you are a lover of contemporary music, then Jazz on the radio is a program you want to listen to. It is a radio music show on Golden Days radio with channel frequency 95.7FM. We are live in Melbourne every Tuesday for three hours.
Our radio program is hosted by one of the best presenters who takes us through his playlist for the day, covering different Jazz music genres, most especially Bebop, western and mainstream Jazz. We invite modern Jazz music artists from time to time to have a chit-chat session and evaluate Jazz music’s evolution from the late 19th century.
Apart from playing songs from reputable artists, we also promote upcoming musicians’ recordings through on-air interviews and sharing of their original recordings. Our program is, no doubt the first of its kind. We help you reminisce about the good old days where you attend Jazz concerts now and then.
Every program ends with an interactive segment where you can call in and contribute to the show’s content for that day. So far, we receive heart-warming feedbacks from our listeners, especially those residents in Victoria. Some of the comments made about our weekly radio program are reported as follows:
- Jeff South Yarra says it’s an outstanding program

- Julia Carnegie describes the show in one word “Perfection.”
- Lindsay Hughesdale could not contain her joy in her text that says she enjoys the program immensely.

- In his text, Sam Caulfield narrates how it gave him a nostalgic feeling of his days at school back in 1960
- Robin Dandenong is impressed with our presenter’s taste in music

Thank you for your feedback. It is what keeps us going and better. It’s a dream we are proud to fulfil. Jazz radio comes live every Tuesday from 8 pm to 11 pm. Keep up with the day and time, and we look forward to having a swell time with you. You can contact us via our email.
Finally, new jazz programs have recently emerged, and they are “Jazz tracks” and “all that jazz”. The former comes live on 98.5FM of Shepparton from 6 pm to 8 pm. It is slightly different from Jazz on the radio because it is more focused on traditional Jazz. It also provides detailed information on local news. Similarly, “all that jazz” as well does traditional Jazz. Although it is a 30-minute program on Golden days radio every Monday at 12:10 pm, it surely gives a vintage vibe.
